Our family and Than/Nate's family plus Mom all went to Glacier National Park to have a fun family vacation, enjoy Than and Sandi's home state, and to join in celebration of Mom's 70th birthday! I took many many pictures, and it's hard to sort out what the best of them are for the blog. So here is only a small sampling of some of the highlights. Than and Sandi hosted us for many nights in their home, plus planned most of the trip up and back to Glacier. We would have been lost without them and their meticulous planning of picnics, meals in and meals out. Mom's keen desire to get to Glacier was the driving force for the troop of us to actually get there, given the distance away it is. And we were all grateful to have experienced the true awesome beauty of this National Park. The boys and the girls were able to experience many things in these pictures and more: hiking, swimming in crystal clear lakes every day, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, camping out, cave hiking, touring Virginia City, siting Mountain Goats, Hoary Marmots, and most importantly, spending lots of time with cousin Claire!
