HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We had all morning to prepare before our guest arrived. Mom and I managed to get out for an early morning walk, then back home to peel, chop, and put out all the finery. The kids got all cleaned up and Julia actually agreed to wear her "Thanksgiving" dress that she received as a gift one year ago and had refused to wear until Thanksgiving day. Julia held it together in the days and hours leading up to the actual party, pretty much had to just play by herself or ride along for errands for days. She also was happy to meet and greet, which was a nice change!
