The Diamondbacks (Will's team) won the Lewisboro Baseball Association Playoffs today. Will played catcher and outfield and had a good number of hits this season. He made it through some really hot weather, and never missed a practice. The coach (Gonzalo) started out pretty low key, but then became increasingly more high strung as we got closer to the playoffs. (practices got longer, team pep talks got more intense "look me in the eye," kind of stuff) Julia too went through this baseball season like a true trooper. She deserves a trophy of her own for sticking it out with 2 hour games starting at 6pm, temperatures in the 90s with no shade.
